Osmocol Hydrocolloid Dressings provide optimal wound healing conditions while allowing you to monitor the healing progress– reducing the need for unnecessary dressing changes.

Features;

• Transparent dressing - Monitor healing progress without needing to disturb or remove dressing
• Protective film layer - Protection from external contaminants and waterproof dressing
• Gel forming - Forms gel when in contact with exudate and protects newly formed tissue
• Contact between wound exudate and the hydrocolloid layer produces a biodegradable gel, creating an optimal, moist wound healing environment.
• Dressing changes are able to take place with minimal disturbance to newly formed tissue.

Suitable for;

• Thin dressing for lightly exuding wounds, and standard dressing for lightly to moderately exuding wounds
• Prevention of superficial skin damage and treatment of wounds
• Venous leg ulcers, pressure injuries and partial thickness burns

Each dressing is individually packed, ready for use, and sterilised by gamma irradiation.
